Present Continuous The  present continuous  verb tense indicates that an action or condition is happening now, frequently, and may continue in the future.                                                                                                                      The Present Continuous Formula:  to be [am, is, are] + verb [-ing] (Am/Is/ Are) + verb-ING                                                Examples: I am writing to you                Am I writing to you?                 I am not writing to you He/she is reading                 Is he/ she reading?                   He/ she is not reading We/You/They are learning.   Are we/you/they learning?      Are we/you/they learning?
